Specialized Military Training
Our team combines extensive military backgrounds with civilian expertise to deliver training that exceeds Canadian government standards. Located just 30 minutes from iFLY Montréal, we can offer seamless integration of vertical wind tunnel and drop zone training in a single day. All instructors hold current CSPA accreditation with specialized military experience in tactical operations, and facility security clearance for classified operations.

Comprehensive Training Programs
Progressive Freefall Course (PFF)
Complete certification path from beginner to CSPA Solo Certification and A licence through structured training including theory classes, vertical wind tunnel sessions, and 10 progressive jumps with qualified instructors.
Vertical Wind Tunnel Training
Specialized IBA-certified instruction at state-of-the-art 14-foot flight chambers with wind velocities up to 200 mph. Programs cover basic freefall, advanced techniques, tunnel coaching, and equipment flying.
Advanced Military Training
Specialized programs including BOC conversion, tactical flying, freefall with combat equipment (day/night), canopy control, group tactical approaches, and night jumps tailored to unit requirements.
Certification Programs
Official CSPA certification pathways including Coach, Instructor ratings, and UPT Tandem ratings delivered by our DZO and Canadian Master Learning Facilitator with 17,000+ jumps of experience.

Our team is led by Mario Prévost, founder of Parachute Academy and Canadian Master Learning Facilitator with over 35 years of skydiving experience. As a Military High Altitude Para (HAP) instructor and Tandem Examiner for UPT and Strong Enterprises, Mario and his team have provided training to Canadian and international military groups of all levels. Our instructors hold current CSPA ratings and military experience, ensuring world-class training for all Canadian Armed Forces personnel.

Saint-Esprit, Quebec
Our primary military training facility on Montreal's North Shore, featuring complete infrastructure and proximity to iFLY Montreal for vertical wind tunnel training.
In addition to Saint-Esprit, our network includes several strategically located facilities that allow us to adapt to the evolving needs of military units. Whether the priority is geographical proximity, weather flexibility, or seasonal availability, these locations provide seamless options to ensure uninterrupted and mission-ready training year-round.
Advanced Fleet & Equipment
Aircrafts
Our turbine-powered fleet includes a 24-passenger Skyvan with ramp exit and two 19-passenger Caravans, all equipped with oxygen systems for jumps up to 17,999' MSL. Operations are conducted under a certified Military TAO, meeting all defence aviation standards.
Safety Systems & Support
Advanced AADs, CSPA riggers, recovery vehicles for safe and efficient operations, comprehensive safety protocols, and dedicated manifest control for military jumpers.
Military-Grade Parachute Systems
All parachute systems are equipped with CPS MS-280 9-cell canopies, ensuring performance and reliability for military operations.
Seamless Military Procurement
Standing Offer with Department of National Defence and Simplified Procurement Process
Parachute Academy holds a Standing Offer with the Department of National Defence (DND), allowing military units to access jumping services quickly and efficiently. With pre-approved pricing and no need for competitive bidding, training can be secured with a simple email from a procurement officer—streamlining the process from request to training.
Security Clearance & Confidentiality
Our facility security clearance allows personnel to access classified information and sensitive work sites. We can provide isolated training areas exclusively for DND use.
Quick Deployment Capabilities and Booking Flexibility
We can provide training with as little as 48 hours' notice at our Canadian locations. Our fleet of aircraft can support operations at our drop zones or at various military locations. We offer scalable scheduling options tailored to operational timelines, allowing units to book short-term, long-term, or rotational training sessions with ease.
CASPARA Contracts
We currently run Casual Parachute Training contracts to maintain currency for DND members with customized programs to meet specific unit requirements.
Bilingual Instruction
All instruction is available in both French and English, delivered by experienced instructors familiar with CAF training protocols.
